Congratulations to our October Agent of the Month, Loridana Garey! Loridana never forgets that at the core of a successful real estate business is hard work. She puts in the hard work to better herself, elevate her knowledge base, and consistently surpass her clients' expectations. Keep reading to learn more about our agent of the month, Loridana!

What three words would you use to describe your approach to the real estate business?:

Dedicated, Knowledgeable, and Trustworthy!

What's one aspect of your business that you are looking to improve on this year? In what ways/how would like to see yourself improve?:

I’m focused on improving my organization and systems to stay efficient and aligned with my personal goals. I’d also like to expand my digital presence and elevate my luxury marketing strategies to showcase properties in fresh, innovative ways.

To what do you attribute your success most?:

I attribute my success to the trust my clients place in me and the lasting relationships and referrals that grow from it. That trust, combined with hard work, consistency, and clear communication, drives me to approach every transaction with dedication.

If you had one piece of advice for someone just starting out in real estate, what would it be?:

Stay consistent and put in the hard work, even when results don’t come right away. Build your business on communication, integrity, and genuine relationships. Those are what lead to trust and referrals.

What's the one piece of advice you always give your clients first?:

To be clear on their goals and priorities. For buyers, that means knowing what matters most: budget, location, lifestyle, or long-term investment, so we can stay focused on finding the right fit. For sellers, I encourage them to view their home through a buyer’s eyes and trust the process, from preparation to pricing, so we can position their property in the best light and achieve the strongest results.

Failure is a natural part of achieving success. How do you recoup when things don't necessarily go your way?:

When things don’t go my way, I take it as an opportunity to step back, learn, and adjust. Real estate is full of moving parts, and not every deal will come together. I focus on what I can control. Staying organized, keeping communication open, and maintaining a positive mindset. Hard work, consistency, and trust in the process help me bounce back stronger and keep moving forward for my clients.

If work-life balance is important to you how can you tell if you are getting it right?:

I know I’ve found balance when my clients feel fully supported, and I still have time to be present with my family and recharge outside of work.

What roles have mentors played in your life and career?:

Having people to look up to and learn from has shaped not only how I do business, but also how I show up for my clients every day.

What risks were you willing to take when starting out in your career and how have they benefited you?:

I took the risk of stepping into a brand-new career, leaving behind stability to follow my passion. I invested in myself with education, marketing, and countless hours of hard work, even when the results weren’t immediate. Taking those risks taught me resilience, built my confidence, and helped me establish a strong foundation of trust and relationships that continue to benefit my business today.

If you could only ever visit one business again in Sonoma/Napa/Mendocino/SF County, what would it be and why?:

Pride Mountain Vineyards. Beyond the breathtaking setting and exceptional wines, I love their motto of “making the world a more enjoyable place.” I remind myself of this with my clients as well. It’s a beautiful reflection of what this region is all about: creating experiences, memories, and connections that bring joy.
