1. What was the first thing you wrote on your to-do list for today?:
Morning workout. Once that’s done, everything else feels easier to tackle.
2. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?:
As cheesy as it sounds, don’t let anyone dull your sparkle.
3. What is your favorite part about working in real estate in this part of the world?:
I love the people I get to meet, help, and work with here in Sonoma County. The communities are welcoming, the neighborhoods are charming, and with the vineyards, wineries, and coastline all around, this place is truly special.
4. Tell us about a recent challenge you came upon and how you conquered it.:
Balancing my teaching career while growing my real estate career has been a challenging puzzle, but I’ve figured it out. I stay productive and make the most of every moment while helping clients list, find, and close on homes. So if you need help with a Common Core math problem or your home, you know who to call!
5. What role has mentorship played in your career?:
Mentorship plays a big role in my growth. I’m so grateful for the support and guidance of my mentors, Sonoma County Home Group. I’ve also had the privilege to learn from the managers/management team and all the kind, supportive, and experienced agents. Being around such a knowledgeable community has helped me grow my skills, navigate challenges, and gain confidence. I love soaking it all up and bringing it into my own career, so I can provide the best experience for my clients.
6. What's your favorite home design feature that you wish more homes had?:
I love a good backyard moment. I’m all about indoor-outdoor living. I like an open kitchen that runs into the backyard, with pocket doors or a kitchen window for serving meals, creating an effortless indoor-outdoor living area. It’s a space where family and friends can naturally gather and make memories.
7. If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?:
My Grammy, she was my favorite person and my best friend. I’d just sit and laugh with her all night, because no one made life more fun than she did. She always had me smiling.
8. Someone is coming to visit Sonoma/Mendocino/SF County. Where should they go first?:
Lake Sonoma, because I absolutely love being out on the water, enjoying perfect weather, warm water, good music, and great company. Once in a while, a little watersport action is fun too. It’s the perfect way to relax and soak in the beauty of Sonoma County.
9. What's something you're looking forward to in the upcoming year? (Wedding, vacation, new opportunity, etc.):
I’m excited to dive into some hands-on home projects this year, getting more experience with design and home transformation. I’m also looking forward to seeing my students grow in the classroom, staying busy with real estate, and enjoying every step of the journey.
