What three words would you use to describe your approach to the real estate business?:
Honesty, Strategic, and Human
What's one aspect of your business that you are looking to improve on this year? In what ways/how would like to see yourself improve?:
Consistency in my follow-up and systems. I want tighter organization with my CRM, faster response times, and more consistent touchpoints so no opportunity or relationship slips through the cracks.
To what do you attribute your success most?:
Being real with people and putting their needs first. I don’t oversell or push, I guide. That builds trust, and trust is everything in this business.
If you had one piece of advice for someone just starting out in real estate, what would it be?:
Focus on people, not transactions. Build real relationships, follow up consistently, and don’t quit when it gets quiet. The ones who stay consistent are the ones who make it.
What's the one piece of advice you always give your clients first?:
Be confident and feel comfortable about what you can actually afford and how you want to live, not just what you qualify for. The right house only works if it fits your real life.
Failure is a natural part of achieving success. How do you recoup when things don't necessarily go your way?:
I don’t sit in it for long. I look at what I could’ve done better, adjust fast, and move forward. This business is full of ups and downs, so consistency matters more than any one deal.
If work-life balance is important to you how can you tell if you are getting it right?:
If I’m showing up as a good mom and a present wife while still taking care of my clients, I know I’m doing it right. If one starts slipping, I adjust.
What roles have mentors played in your life and career?:
They’ve helped me see things I couldn’t see on my own and pushed me to be better, especially early on. But over time I’ve learned to trust my own instincts too and that’s been just as important.
What risks were you willing to take when starting out in your career and how have they benefited you?:
I was willing to step into a commission-only career without a guaranteed paycheck and bet on myself. I also put myself out there constantly, meeting new people, following up, and hearing no more times than I can count. More recently, I took the risk of leaving my team to build a business that is fully mine. Those risks forced me to grow quickly, trust my instincts, and focus on real relationships instead of just transactions. It has made me more confident, more resilient, and has allowed me to build a business that truly reflects who I am and how I want to serve people.
If you could only ever visit one business again in Sonoma/Napa/Mendocino/SF County, what would it be and why?:
I would choose Grata Italian Eatery in Windsor. I am drawn to businesses that are built on relationships and consistency, and this restaurant truly provides that for our community. The owners are also some of my favorite people, and you can feel the care they put into everything they do.
