We wouldn't be us if it weren't for all the hardworking staff behind the scenes who keep us running as a company. We do our best to celebrate these incredible individuals each day, and now we want to celebrate them with you, too!

We'd like to introduce you to our April Employee Spotlight, Manny Garcia. Manny is our incredible Commercial Agent Support, and he is responsible for helping our commercial agents with everything from day-to-day tasks and marketing requests to managing the W Commercial social media, and more! He plays a huge role in the daily life of our commercial agents, and we are so excited for you to get to know him. Keep reading to learn more about Manny!

What does a typical day at W look like for you?:

No two days are the same, which is what I enjoy most. My day usually involves supporting agents across multiple offices with marketing, coordinating property listings, building brochures and campaigns, managing social media, and making sure everything we put out is consistent with our brand. I’m constantly collaborating with our team

What's your ideal day out in Sonoma/Napa/Mendocino/Lake County?:

My ideal day in Sonoma County would start with an early tee time at Windsor Golf Course, getting a round in with friends while the weather is still cool and the course is quiet. After that, I’d meet up with my wife for lunch—we love trying new spots, and we’re lucky to have so many great options here. Some of our go-to favorites are Sweet T’s in Windsor, Wild Poppy in Sebastopol, and Underwood in Graton. And honestly, you can’t go wrong with a drive out to Bodega either—any day that ends by the coast is a good one.

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?:

I’d love to learn how to play the guitar—it’s one of those skills that’s both creative and something you can enjoy for life. At the same time, becoming a scratch golfer wouldn’t hurt either.

What’s your go-to karaoke song? Or the song that always gets you out on the dancefloor?:

“Friends in Low Places” is always a solid go-to, but honestly, any good throwback that gets the crowd going will do it.

You can only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?:

I’d have to go with taco. There are so many variations that it never really gets old.

If you could live anywhere new in the world for a year, where would it be?:

Spain would be high on my list. Great food, great weather, and a lifestyle that’s all about enjoying the day. It just seems like an easy place to settle into.

Tell us about something you're excited about this year!:

I’m excited to keep growing in my role, support our team, and also make time to enjoy life outside of work with family and friends.

What's your favorite part about working at W?:

My favorite part about working at W is the people and the culture. It’s a collaborative environment where I’m able to support our agents, help bring their marketing to life, and play a role in building something that’s continuing to grow.
