An Associate Broker with W Real Estate, Sarah Richards-Gansa knows the Napa Valley market like the back of her hand.  Sarah specializes in sophisticated luxury real estate and vineyard properties in the Napa Valley, Sonoma, and beyond, including winery acquisition and sales. 

Raised at a winery in St. Helena in the Napa Valley, Sarah went to local schools.  She got her B.A. degree from Georgetown University and received her law degree from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.   After working in San Francisco as a lawyer on commercial real estate, land-use, and wine-industry-related issues, she moved back to Napa Valley in 2004.

Putting down her family’s roots in Calistoga, Sarah worked in-house as counsel for Kendall Jackson Winery in Sonoma and at a mid-sized Napa Valley winery.  In 2015, she and her husband started a business developing high-end single-family residential projects in St. Helena and Calistoga.

In January 2019, Sarah and her family moved to Florence, Italy for almost two years.  Her children attended the International School of Florence (ISF) while Sarah achieved an intermediate level of proficiency in Italian.  Now back in Calistoga, Sarah continues to work on her Italian and maintains her luxury real estate, wine and hospitality contacts in Florence.

Over the years, Sarah has been consistently involved in Napa Valley community projects, including the Calistoga Community Pool Project, the City of Calistoga Pool Advisory Committee, and a board member of the St. Helena Public Schools Foundation and on its GiveBIG! Steering Committee.
